Lash extensions can be applied to anyone that has healthy natural lashes. Natural lashes do not have to be a certain length, so long as there is no pre-existing damage. Those with eye and skin sensitivities may want to consult their physician prior to making an appointment.

+ DOES THE PROCESS INVOLVE DISCOMFORT OR IRRITATION?

Absolutely not! Lash services are performed under a relaxing environment, and should not cause any pain, burning, or irritation.

Yes, however, it is always important to consult with your physician prior to making an appointment.

+ HOW DO I KNOW WHAT LOOK WORKS BEST FOR ME?

Every appointment will begin with a quick consultation, where your artist will create a custom look for you. Inspiration photos are always welcome, to help give us an idea of your preferences.

+ WHAT TYPE OF GLUE IS USED FOR LASH EXTENSIONS?

Only the best quality, medical grade adhesive will be used for this service. Those with eye sensitivities should consult their physician prior to making an appointment.

+ WILL LASH EXTENSIONS DAMAGE MY NATURAL LASHES?

No. Since extensions can only be as long and thick as your natural lashes are capable of handling, every client will receive a completely customized set. Extensions shed along with the natural cycle of your lashes - once an eyelash sheds, your extensions will shed along with it. Aftercare is vital to the health of your lashes. Most damage can be caused by the wearer from tugging, pulling, eye rubbing, or sleeping on their lashes.

+ WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CARE FOR MY LASH EXTENSIONS?

It’s important to allow the lash adhesive to cure before getting them completely wet. After the drying time, it’s important to use oil-free products around the lashes and cleanse them gently with a mild cleanser. Touching or pulling the lash extensions is never recommended and could potentially cause damage. Your lash artist will always review proper maintenance and aftercare towards the end of the service. + CAN I WEAR MASCARA WITH MY LASH EXTENSIONS?

Lash extensions are meant to enhance the eyes and lash line, so most clients don’t need mascara (or eyeliner). However a water-based only mascara can be worn and should only be applied to the ends of the lashes. Clients who choose to wear mascara may need to return for fills much sooner, due to the makeup removal process.

+ CAN I BRING GUESTS WITH ME TO MY APPOINTMENT?

Unfortunately not. Due to the current pandemic, we will be maintaing social distancing between other service providers and their clients. We do not have the extra space to maintain social distancing for extra guests, at this time.

+ WHAT IS MICROBLADING?

Microblading is the art of semi-permanent makeup, where micro strokes are created to give the illusion of real hair. Microblading WILL fade over time.

+ WHAT DOES THE MICROBLADING PROCESS ENTAIL?

Microblading is a 2 hour service that involves breaking the surface layer of the skin open to deposit a water-based ink, in order to add the illusion of thickness to the eyebrows. Topical numbing cream is used to make the experience more comfortable. A touch-up appointment is required 6-8 weeks after the initial microblading appointment, for about 75% of all candidates.

+ How do I prepare for my appointment?

Do not have your eyebrows groomed prior to this appointment; overgrown brows are the best to work with. Stop the use of any Retin-A products, at least one week before your appointment. Please arrive free of any eye makeup and dress in comfortable attire. You will have plenty of opportunities to use the restroom and check messages, within the 2-hour appointment. + WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR MICROBLADING?

Microblading is ideal for anyone looking for more definition and structure in the eyebrows. Whether you have eyebrows that have lightened over time, or wear makeup and are exhausted of drawing them on every day, microblading can be customized from person to person. Cancer survivors and those with Alopecia can be excellent candidates as well. Those who use Retin-A products or take blood thinning oral medications may not be good candidates for this service, though in most cases it is ok. + WHAT IS THE HEALING PROCESS LIKE?
